Just a little note on my twin miracle.. after some ups and downs, being scared witless after my nausea and symptoms disappeared, struggling with a nasty cold and suspected infections and trying to enjoy being pregnant and not turn into a complete nervous mess.. I had my 10 week scan and Harmony test last week. Both twins were about the same size, strong heartbeats, one hell raiser moving around constantly and waving its hands, another one a bit calmer - it was amazing to see how much they've changed in just two weeks! My heart was filled with such love I will not even attempt to describe it β€
Today I got my results back and it was negative (thank you God!) and I was laughing and crying on the phone. They also confirmed to my absolute amazement that I'm having two girls!!! I honestly was convinced that at least one of them would be a boy.. but looks like we're all female household lol ππ€°β€οΈπ I thank my lucky stars every day and pray that my girls will stay happy and healthy!! Thank you so much everyone for your ongoing support - this place is such a lifesaver for good news, bad news and anything in between! We just have to keep on believing that anything and everything is possible!

Omg I never in a million years knew how much worry would be involved after a bfp!! If someone had warned me I would have thought they were exaggerating lol xx
Aww amazing so happy for you, and two gorgeous girls how exciting ππππ
Hi Nesfin. Scan looks fabulous to me! You're a quarter of the way through already! Well done you. Enjoy your "smaller" months, you'll lose sight of your toes very soon! You have to have a giggle about it, but I wish you huge luck with the rest of your pregnancy and birth. Thinking of you. Diane
Aw Nesfin, what a breathtakingly joyous time for you, I'm sooo pleased! The scan photos are amazing and must feel like utter magic to you. Looking forward to watching your pregnancy progress and seeing more lovely scan pics. Well done hun and thanks for sharing xxx
I bet it is lovely but pictures like those make the magic real and the journey to get there makes it all the more precious.
I can imagine of we IVFERS that looking at all of our babies will still take our breath away and fill us with wonder and disbelief at our luck even when our babies are all grown up after the journey it takes us to get there... says one firm believer it'll happen to another who believed til it came true... doubly!
Super exciting that you get a whole family at once too! All good things come to those who wait ey! Xx π
Nesfin aggghhhh I'm so freaky happy for you. I'm nervous enough with One I can only imagine the ups and downs you must be going through with two! Twin girls amazing. Will they be identical?
Love your story so far. Keep us updated xxβ€β€π₯π»
2 hearts 2 champagne 2 beers to celebrate your twins xx

What a beautiful post. Thank you for sharing this and Im delighted things are going well for you and your precious cargo:))) Wishing you all the best xxx
Nesfin, I'm so so happy for you girl!!! 2 young ladies are inside you, that's fantastic! Have you already chosen names? your post fills me with love too.
I thought I would know my babes' gender in more than a month but also decided to have harmony. Your next scan is in a week then?
Thank you fellow twin-mum-to-be π I've had a few names from the start but they may change.. still early days. VHarmony results with twins can be a bit complex as I'm sure you know but the test is well worth doing, knowing I'm in a high risk bracket and getting a negative was such a relief and burden off my shoulders. No invasive tests needed xoxo
This is such a lovely post!!! I can tell your filled with love and pride, and so you should be! Twin girls will be amazing! Did you have 2 embryos transferred for one? I've been reading about your status and can see you've sadly been through a lot π’ And can see that your eggs seem to keep increasing in quality! Do you mind if I ask if there was anything you did to get the improvements? Aside from that, huge congrats ππππΆπ»πΆπ»Xx
I had two transferred and they both stayed π It's been a tough journey and I was in a very dark place last year but still consider myself luckier than most so far.. I'm just grateful for every single day nothing goes wrong! I blamed myself for the mc but take no credit this time, it's my lil girls who do the fighting! I did up my routines in terms of diet (high protein, lots of milk, no alcohol) already before my third cycle started and also added moderate exercise and during stimms heat on my tummy when my follies desperately needed a growth spur before EC.. I believe firmly that it all helped but who knows! My doc said it was also a question of finding exactly what meds mixture works best for me. Seems my body needed constant stimulation to be woken up lol Wish you all the best in your journey!! xoxo
Ahh how exciting! Twin girls! π I've just had my 10 week scan (for peace of mind) and was v happy to see my one moving around.
Still early days like you (and i will likely need to have the harmony test but waiting for my midwife app first) but big congrats to you and hope all continues to go well xx
Thank you, its lovely to see your little coming to "live" when they start moving π My midwife actually recommended a private test (and gave me information) so sounds sensible to wait for your appointment. Congrats and wish you a smooth pregnancy, keep us posted! xoxo
Thank you, I don't want to upset anyone with my progress but to show that receiving good news is possible.. fingers crossed it will continue, I'm happy and grateful to have come this far xoxo
Thank you! β€ Harmony is a type of NIPT (non-invasive prenatal test) i.e. blood test, that analyses the DNA in a sample to predict the risk of Down syndrome (trisomy 21) and other genetic conditions called trisomy 18 and trisomy 13. It's not provided by NHS but as it is so much more accurate than the NHS test my midwife recommended it to me too. Additionally with the test they can look if the male chromosome exists, hence finding out the sex of the baby xoxo
Nesfin my love, what a lovely post, so so happy for you I'm so glad things are going well despite all your worries. Sending love to all three of you, take care x x x
Hello mommabear16 how lovely to see you here and thank you so much for your kind words β€β€ I hope you are well and keeping positive as always. Hugs! xoxo
