Hi,

Does anyone know how many cycles of IVF you get on the NHS in Gloucestershire please?

Thanks

After a quick Google search, it seems up to 3 cycles. There are a fair amount of criteria as always, need to be 39 or under (woman) and 55 (for man), no previous children etc etc. The is a word doc for Gloucestershireccg. NHS.uk you can look at. Good luck.

All the stuff that i can see 2015-2018 as says 3, so ... fingers crossed for you! Have you seen your GP yet? I agree it's all so unecessarily complicated!

Just to pre warn you that even though it might say up to 3, they might not honour that. Our area was up to 3 and we were given 2....

Hi there, I'm with Gloucestershire and we are on our third one now. Started when I was 37 but initially Went for some tests and appointments before that but had to get my BMI down to less than 30 and it was at the initial appointment that I found out I had polycystic ovaries and also have an under active thyroid. We also did a procedure on my husband and found out he had Asperzoomia (no sperm). So it may be dependant on circumstances how many cycles you are granted. X

Thank you for your responses everyone. We started the process in Wales but have moved back to Gloucestershire. We are just waiting for the GP to refer us to the consultant in Gloucestershire so fingers crossed it's more than 1 cycle.

Xx
