I have been today for yet more blood test and scans..when i went in they took my blood said they wouldnt bother with a scan as they already know i have follicles..I was then told they are going to go ahead with egg collection on Monday but will not be transferring any embryos as they suspect i have polyps on my womb again! I am very dissappointed as i had a polyps removed at beginning of this year before i had my first ivf cycle so feels like im all the way back to the start! So frustrated at the moment..they said usually you would pay for embryos freezing but because mine is a reccomedation for medical reasons i dont have to pay but still a little guttered! Last time i had polyps removed i was 4 days in hospital as i was diagnosed with pelvic inflammotry disease straight after having polyp removed so scared isnt the word right now im just feeling very sorry for myself at moment sorry for the rant ladies! lol Hope everyone else is doing good on their journeys i do my final injection tonight good luck ladies xxxx

Oh Liz1985 that's rubbish-poor you x No need to be sorry x this is a great place to get things off your chest - we understand x Delays are so frustrating (even if you know its for the best). x This whole journey has such highs and lows x At least they found it and this will give you a better chance of your IVF working x sure you are in safe hands ( not that stops the worrying). x Good luck with it all x rooting for you x x x

Aww I know hun x its one big waiting game x I'm good thank you x we had our appointment with our fertility consultant - really liked him x after 5 years of ttc ive just found out I'm PCO x I was lucky as the day of our appointment I happen to be on day 2 of my cycle - which meant I could start clomid straightaway!! x my luck doesn't often fall like that x Hope your IVF is successful x Sure the baby will be worth all the heartache for x Our babies are special and are worth fighting for x you're doing well lovely lady x x x
Awe thank you sweetie..and yes that was very lucky i hope things go well for you to ..and yes i know what you mean we are always waiting for something!!! lol But yes you are so right our babies are soo special and would def be worth it if it works!!! lol fingers crossed for us both i have final injection tonight at 11.30 pm and egg collection monday so hoping i get more eggs than last time i got 2 last time so fingers crossed xxxx
Polyps can just appear over night apparently. I've had my baseline scan two weeks ago and they think that I have a small polyp. I'm waiting to have a 3D scan. I'm stressed out because I'm not sure yet if I will be starting my injection protocol that is due to start around 10th September. Everyone told me that it is better if they remove it first(if it is a polyp).
I know how frustrating delays are in a process that is already so difficult. It seems that everyone else goes to EC and then straight to transfer.
I had to delay ET due to high progesterone and then my FET was delayed for the same reason before they decided to do something about it. Then my progesterone was fine but my lining was too thin.
It will happen eventually and at least they found out so your body is in the best shape ready for the embryo. x

I am in for ec tomorrow and seen as I only got 2 last time I am just concentrating on that at moment praying that I get better results with different drugs they have said I have 9 follicles at moment I was told I had lots last time though and still only got 2 so wasn't feeling that reassured just taking it one step at time at moment trying to go bit by bit fingers crossed for tomorrow and for you ladies on your journey also xxx
All best for your EC tomorrow Liz. Did the clinic up the dose from last time? Clinics can learn much from your first cycle and hopefully with the different drugs they tweaked it right for you.This is such a journey. Roll coaster ride of highs and lows! Let us know how you get on. You deserve some good news. x x x
Yeah they put me on merinol this time instead of gonal f and I have been on injections a lot longer this cycle jut so nervous it's horrible! Lol just praying for good result tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏 xxx
