Hello, it's been a long time since I posted on this forum, but I was looking for some advice. Me and my husband were lucky enough to have a successful IVF journey back in 2019 and we have a daughter who is 2&1/2. We have 3 frozen embryos left and we want to thaw these and try for another child. I suppose I'm just asking if anyone knows what the steps are to do this, do I contact my GP in the first instance or the team in Middlesbrough where we had the IVF? Any help appreciated thank you 😊

Hi Kay
In a very similar situation to you, daughter born early 2020, we have 7 in storage which we are paying monthly for. I’m still in two minds on a second. If I could fall naturally it would be a no brainer but the cost of it puts me off.
I know for me it would be a case of speaking with our clinic, I would imagine it would be the same for yourself as any further IVF rounds would need to be funded by yourself… that’s my understanding of it anyway.
Good luck!
