“Coarsened hepatic echotexture is asonographic descriptor used when the uniform smooth hepatic echotexture of the liver is lost. I also read that the liver has more fat than normal that causes the liver to have a different outer texture other than smooth.

Thank you. It was the first time in three years reading that on my ultrasound. I do have NAFL but no scars, so that is most likely what they are seeing. I don't go into see the doctor until the 6th. I appreciate that you answered me.
