Toe nails?

For at least six months my large big toe nails have not grown at all, the rest are fine. They are yellow, brittle, thick. Is there a connection possibly?

Hi Wiserlady.

I've got the same issues with my two big toe nails too. I've been to the GP on two occasions and both times they have said it was fungal but after both treatments they never improved.

I haven't NASH but have been diagnosed with 2 autoimmune liver diseases. I've often wondered if the liver diseases were causing these issues with my toe nails. So thank you for posting and hopefully someone will be able to give us both some answers.

Take care

Probably nail growth is sensitive to the chemistry of the blood which changes with liver disease, could be fungus, or years too
