Biggest organ brings big challenges!

Our biggest organ gives us our biggest challenges. It's part of our lifestyle, now. 24/7. Good days and some not so good days. I'm proactive and positive. Ask questions.

The diagnosis is hard enough to deal with, then there's the diet/lifestyle changes. I am working my way into being proactive as well. The alternative is not an option. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Just spotted your mail re diet/lifestyle changes !

Don’t eat white bread, white rice or flour. Nothing processed, most tinned items are full of preservatives. now is the time to start reading labels,👀 your looking for low fat and salt items, worth watching sugar content too some items are really high.

I follow mainly Mediterranean style.

Fish (high oily), salmon, pilchards, sardines, and many others. Fresh chilled or frozen plain fillets.

Fresh chilled or frozen roast chicken, turkey, not processed packaged or lean pork medallions.

Veggies so much to choose from, my favourites sprouts onions red and white peppers garlic broad beans cabbage tomatoes mushrooms, beetroot. I could go on !! Ha.

Fruits, anything you like, bananas apples oranges kiwi berries dark one’s really good for you. I also buy the bags of frozen mixed fruit and berries, I take out what I need for the following day and leave in the fridge. These are added to my breakfast, eg shredded wheat, wheetabix porridge oats granola. I never get bored 🤣.

These are just examples from my dietary guidelines, hopefully you will find some of it useful and fits in with your menu’s. Chrissie 👌.
