Early audience results are in from the 17 station interview tour we did a couple of weeks ago. I am pleased but surprised that we have had an audience of 13.6 million listeners so far. I think the foundation should seek other opportunities for this kind of outreach.

The radio interviews aired a total of 1,053 times due to some of the nationally syndicated programs, and the total audience reach for all the interviews so far is 13.6MM. We believe this will be extremely valuable in helping to educate more people about NASH.

Two of the internet interviews resulted in nice article write-ups Links to both of these articles below, as well as links to two of the radio interviews.

Wayne,

Imagine my surprise when I listened to your recent radio interview & also heard Anne Moore of the Institute for Liver Health being interviewed. Anne is Nurse Practitioner where I was diagnosed with NASH. I have monthly check ups & blood tests there for the clinical trial that I’m participating in. Small world!

Isn't she great!!! That was great fun. It certainly is a small world. Interesting connections all the time. Happy that you are here and dealing with your disease with Ann's team

Yes, she is! I’m happy I found your site too. It’s so nice to connect with others who are dealing with the same issues and exchanging information. It gives me more hope than I had when initially diagnosed. And I feel fortunate that I have the opportunity to be cared for by Anne & the rest of the team at ILH. They are all great.

You’re doing a great job taking information to the nation, thank you for your dedication and commitment to raising awareness.

It would be wonderful if other nations would take up the challenge because the predictions of a future crisis in obesity and diabetes go hand in hand with NAFLD however no one seems to be willing to shine a light on liver disease.
