Feeling very low mood today 😪

Sorry for my moan but I just feel awful today nausea, dizzy, deaf, tired, and really not with it. I’m normally busy making Sunday lunch in between gardening and getting the family sorted for work tomorrow and more. I’m actually tempted to go to my bed which I never do. Everyone keeps telling me I look better and the droop in my face isn’t that noticeable now. I know they are being kind but to be honest the droop in my face is not even concerning me right now it’s on my list to think about at some point. The deafness and blurred eyesight worry me , the itch in my ears with the shingles is driving me crazy and now today the nausea and dizziness. I’ve read they may prescribe Valium for dizziness I don’t think I’d be keen to start that. Anyone gone through this with Ramsay hunt syndrome

I have not had Ramsey Hunt syndrome but I have had Bells Palsy for 2 years now.

People do tend to comment on facial improvement, thinking that that is all there is to it.

Unfortunately the sore eyes and hearing problems and general tightness in the face are not so obvious !

You are obviously a lot younger than me and have a very busy life to cope with.

I had to give up work that I did find very satisfying.

Do try to accept that you do need rest and hand over jobs to other people ( I am very bad at that myself ! )

I hope that you do get some encouragement from someone with Ramsey Hunt syndrome but I felt that you needed a reply.

Thanks Arty for replying I was reading your reply as my husband walked in the room being all positive and my goodness your face looks good just now darling! he means well but I’d also just seen a photo my friend sent me on WhatsApp from there visit to see me yesterday!! Sadly you’re right it’s not to do with facial improvement. And unfortunately I’m just at the beginning of this process. I might be one of the lucky ones
