So I'm on 4th week with bell's palsy. The pain was very bad at 2nd week to 3rd week.I still have pain but i only feel pain when I touch on my mouth or neck. ""On my bell's palsy side I feel tightness now a days"" .is it bad or what? in 4 weeks haven't seen 1% recovery. I'm also doing facial exercises and not doing massage.on my 1st 2 weeks I had done massage like 2 or 3 times for 4 minutes. Can anyone pls tell me anything about this which can help me ?I wanted to know. And I also feel twitches on my head not on my mouth bell's palsy side.

So sorry to hear that you have Bell's palsy. I am still suffering from the consequences so I can sympathise with you. It is a lengthy recovery process, you have to be patient. Get your Gp to refer to a Bell's palsy special unit. The earlier you are treated the better as it can be addressed by facial physio therapy. There is one in Oxford John Radcliffe hospital. Don't get fobbed off that it will get better on its own it rarely does. You may need to have steroids. Hope this helps. Good luck
