Hi Mxolisi,

Sorry to hear you have BP. It can be really tough but you will get through this and recovery rates from BP are really high so try to stay positive.

I had RHS and know how you feel. I am in sales so facing people was tough but I found the thought of it far worse than the reality as people were so understanding, compassionate and supportive so take strength from your friends and family. everyone needs a little help from time to time so let people help you and accept that you gave to focus on you for a while to get the rest and recovery you need.

It will get better and you will get through this I promise. Stay positive and get as much rest as possible.

Sorry to hear you have BP. I'd it around 5 years ago. Very tiring in the first few weeks. The anti-virals made me sleep a lot! It does take a while to recover, and you do feel isolated during the worst of it, but you will get there. First thing that came back for me was being able to drink without a straw. When that happens, you'll feel a lot more human again. I also had to tape my eye shut at night time. Once that stopped, I felt a lot better! The vast majority of people recover well, and you'd never know they had it. Take all the time you need to rest and recover.

You will get better and you must keep a good heart.

I found taping up the eye at night was really quite relaxing and although I have nearly recovered still do it.

On a bright side it help me to stop smoking - I taped up both eyes once or twice and couldn't find my fags!

Keep your spirits up.
