Hi all, Alex is still healthy and happy, each day has it's challenges but the tumour is stable and he's adapted well to a baha hearing aid to overcome the glue in his hearing ear. Problem is left eye (the affected side) , it's kept moist, no abrasions, no squint, nerve is working well and eye is healthy but it has unexplained poor vision and is deteriorating. Eye is not responding to the good eye being patched for 3 months to force it to work better. Specialist and orthoptist are confused. The occupational therapist noticed as a baby that Alex ignored left side but visual field seemed ok when checked. Any ideas on present eye problem would be welcome from others who have known of similar problems or any specialists out there.

Thanks for reading.

I referred this to an expert and they said it's difficult to comment without more information. If you like to email the charity we could possibly discuss further?

Hi I just wanted to mention, (you responded to my post about my little Alex), Alex also has vision problems, and they skipped the patch and went straight to glasses! He now wears them all day. Maybe thats an option? Alex went to the eye specialists at the hospital.
