You’ve probably received an email from us recently, letting you know that EXI now integrates directly with Fitbit. We have been working on this one for quite a while, and we’re so happy to have launched this improvement to EXI.

I have been a Fitbit user for years now and I just love it. Having something on my wrist that tracks my heart rate, sleep, steps and other activity just gives a much better insight into how well I am managing to stay well and active.
And now I can have that data in my EXI app too! I was so excited that this connection was on the way so the day it launched was like Christmas!
I linked my Fitbit when it first launched and I love being able to see the heart rate trace for my activities and that my step count is now more accurate than it was when it was just my phone tracking my steps!
If you missed the email, or haven’t tried linking your Fitbit yet here’s what you need to do:
1) Make sure your EXI is on the most recent version
2) Open the Profile page in your EXI app (the circle in the top right-hand corner)
3) Scroll down and tap “Devices and Services”
4) Tap Connect a new device or service
5) Sign in to your Fitbit account and allow all permissions
Once I did that I was ready to go. Now I just tap the “Exercise” button on my Fitbit, launch my walk (or cycle, or gym session), and end it when I’m done. When I open the Fitbit app on my phone it appears there, and then it’s imported to EXI once I open my app. Perfect for when you’re out and about!
