In my opinion yes!You are moving and using your body differently to a normal day.
If it was your normal way of working on a daily basis then nope.

All movement is good for you, and decorating certainly takes enough effort to count as exercise. If you have a wearable device it should be picking all that activity up and showing it in the EXI app. If you are just using your phone, try to keep it in your pocket so it can detect your movements - just don't drop it in a tin of paint!
