Yes sometimes taking care of ourselves through difficult times - making ends meet, grief, illness, recovering from an injury, or taking on a lot of extra responsibility - can be a very difficult task.
Having a schedule - even if you just end up doing a ten minute tidy, get out for short talk, call a friend for a chat - can mean feeling that sense of accomplishment. I struggle with managing my time but if I've made a commitment to doing something it makes it much more likely to happen. And when we take care of ourselves, our ability to deal with adversity grows stronger!
With Physical activity, it *definitely* helps to sit down at the start of the week and decide where/how you can try to work it in. It might not happen on the day in the end, but it's *more likely* you'll do it!
And, because I find keeping track of time difficult, I have recently bought myself this cute little timer clock to use when I've set myself a job like cleaning or housework. Racing the clock to pick up the dirty laundry and put a wash on makes it more fun and means I'm more likely to accomplish it
