Do you notice a difference in your mental health?

As its mental health week, I just wanted to share a personal milestone in my mental health journey. Over the past few months, I have been engaging in regular physical activity and really noticed the difference in my mental health. Physical activity provides an outlet for my pent-up energy and stress. But what has has surprised me the most, is that after only as few weeks, I started to feel so much more confident as a person.

Has anyone else noticed a difference in their mental health after starting their physical activity journey?

Hi, I am on week 9 and finding weight loss very disappointing, I have however noticed a big improvement in my mental health. I have had severe depression for many years but can now see a positive lift in my enjoyment of life, my sleep has improved and I am not spending all day hiding at home. I would still appreciate the weight reducing but the hospital team say not to pay to much attention to the scales but to focus on the long term lifestyle and dietary change.
