Son has chronic constipation
They need to manage it effectively or could have problems later on, not sure about dosages though
My 3 year old daughter had bad constipation recently and what’s worked for me is 2.5ml of Senna and 1 sachet of Movicol at breakfast, she then goes to the loo after brekkie (about 20mins after breakfast). She was on lactilose for a bit but it wasn’t helping with her bowel movement as she’s not a big drinker which apparently lactilose needs the fluid to work affectively! Ask your doctor to try Senna and Movicol combined, this was suggested to me by an ERIC consultant and it’s worked a treat. Just make sure you use 62.5 ml of water to mix with the sachet of Movicol as otherwise it won’t work, I was previously guessing the amount of water (they say a quarter of a cup) but how big is your cup is key here so better to get the right measurement. Hope this helps
