Warning! Yucky disimpaction question

We've disimpacted several times before but this time we're getting lots of hard PALE lumps that look a bit like peanut butter. We're not sure if it's bits of dry poo coming away but it looks too pale. Anyone else experienced this? Thanks friends xx

Hi, it's no help what so ever this is my first time doing the full course of disimpactation with my daughter. I have been asking the same question. Where at the runny stage on day 5, very loose but the same colour. A very light peanut butter colour?! I have no idea as alot of people are talking about a dark rusty colour x sorry it's not helping but your not alone

Thanks for your reply Ruthy, I'm going to call the ERIC helpline today but we think we need to keep going. Good luck!

Hello, I spoke to the ERIC helpline and she said it sounds like he has a back up of soft poo so we should keep going for the rusty water. It's been a week on12now and the stuff keeps coming. It might be worth you calling them. The lady was very helpful. Xx

Thank you. I spoke to them I may call back, she said keep going but I sound nearly there. The day after it was the same colour but coming out like water so I stopped the process. Now trying to find a maintenance dose. 2 wasn't enough I'm thinking perhaps 3. She's still uncomfortable eating so I think I'll call the GP Monday. I think she has trapped wind or reflux. I'm stuck now it's never been like this. Thanks for getting back to me on here xxxx

Yeah I’ve had that too - I just assumed it was stuff in the colon etc that needed clearing out... my daughters look exactly like chunky peanut butter near the end but I have no idea if that’s unusual or not.
