It does help a bit. But as I understand it is not a magic wand. For us tackling everything is helping a bit for our 7yo. Aggressive constipation management, ensuring adequate hydration and oxybutynin is making a difference. Each on their own is not enough. Good luck it's not easy and I have doubted some of this at times but the best news we have at the moment is that our pees are longer. Which for 7 yo boys is a badge of honour. 😉
My daughter is 5.5 and on 5mg of Oxybutynin twice a day and it is most definitely helping during the day. Still wet a night but going less during the day and no more dribbles when she does go!
