3.5 year old on movicol

I have a little girl who has just been on movicol for the last month. After a good cleanout she's on half to one sachet a day. She passes stool regularly (everyday sometimes the odd day off) but now they're rounder in shape and all different sizes. Not seeing much of the sausage shaped ones anymore. Is this normal? Xx

Yes, are you familiar with the Bristol stool chart? Have a look on there, anything from a 4 to a 6 is ideal for a child on movicol.....you don’t want any hard poo’s. As long as she is passing regularly, then that’s the goal 🎉

My daughter is on 3 1/2 sachets a day and does between a 4/5 on the chart x

Hi! She's definitely passing regularly and not hard at all. They're just so small in size. It would be a number 4 by consistency but not the long shape...I guess that's what's throwing me off
