Laxatives

Has anyone found that laxatives have helped with day wetting? How long did it take for you see any progress?

Hi Jianna! If your little one's daytime wetting is being caused by constipation then yes, treating the constipation will do more than help with the wetting - it should actually cure it altogether :).

However will not cure it overnight, so it would be hard to say how long it will take the wetting to resolve. Keeping a Poo Diary might help you to get an idea of how quickly your child is progressing. Also make sure to use the laxatives really effectively, as if the poo does not get cleared out properly the daytime accidents could continue.
