My daughter has a benign tumour and this is causing her to have focal seizures. It's been two years and now they are scheduling her to be monitored over night to catch the seizure happening on video and also to ensure the tumour is causing the seizure. The neurosurgeon told us briefly what type of surgery will be done to remove the tumour which is scaring me a lot. I just cannot until why so much healthy brain needs to be removed in order to get rid of tumour and stop seizures. She then also has to go for occupational therapy. I'm just a mom scared and not wanting to lose my little girls personality and love. She is only 4 years old and if any mom out there can give me some words of encouragement I would appreciate it.

I cant even imagine what you must be gojng through. Have you gone for a second opion?
No I haven't gone for second opinion but we are now being referred to Dr. Butler who has a good reputation. Thus far we have Trusted God and know He will come through for this family during this time and send the correct doctors on our path
Hi Mary,
God will come through for you, I am sure of that.
I've heard that Dr. Butler is one of the best in the world, so I think you are making the right move going to him for a second opinion.
I have a phone consultation with him on the 10th of April and I must say I am quite excited to speak to him. I have only heard amazing things about him.
May God bless you and your little girl, I'm convinced he has a plan for you for the future.
Regards,
Fana
