A great thing about digital technology is how people can get involved. Epilepsy Society’s pioneering, free iPhone app was launched in 2010. Our android app was then developed with the help of two volunteers with technological expertise. Thanks guys!

Since then the app’s been downloaded over 6000 times, been reviewed by the BBC and shortlisted for an award, and most importantly, has saved lives! epilepsysociety.org.uk/What...

What can you do with the epilepsy app? Use the seizure diary option to record seizures, and share with your doctor. Store photos of your medication so medical staff and your pharmacist can see at a glance what you take. Find essential epilepsy and first aid information including a video guide of the recovery position – vital info for everyone!
