How long does it normally take to recover from a grand mal seizure? I had ten grand mals about twelve days ago and was in the hospital for two days. I feel like I’m still dragging this time. Side note: during one of my seizures I slammed my jaw against the corner of my dresser. My face was swollen and bruised when I woke up.

with my seizures as long as i didn’t injure myself like you’ve described with your jaw it takes me anywhere from 3 days to a week to feel human again! i think the worst for me is the muscle soreness and fatigue but i seem to have a fog cloud over my head for days afterwards finding it difficult to focus etc.. what kind of symptoms do you experience after your grand mals? 🌻
