Hi, has anyone been experiencing a change in seizures since menopausal?

I’m experiencing a worsening of seizures alongside all the menopause side affects such as anxiety and fatigue. Seizures occur during my period and when I am not taking HRT.

It’s very difficult to know which is causing the anxiety and depression and where to get hormonal advice for this.

it would be great to hear about any similar experiences and whether anyone has received advice / medical guidance for this and what would normally be recommended.

I have recently experienced a worsening of my seizures and I believe it may be menopause related.I take the pill to prevent me having periods and so I'm not 100% sure I have begun menopause, but I have experienced some symptoms that make me think I have.

All a bit at sea with knowing what to do, as I am unmedicated and not under neurology. The pills never worked, had horrible side effects, and my fits were tiny and never bothered me. These ones recently I don't like having and wish they would stop, but I don't want epilepsy pills for them. Had hoped someone might have a suggestion of "try taking vitamin X", or evening primrose oil, or similar, just to get my fits back to where they were.
