Hi. My first post on here, nice to meet you all. I was just wondering whether anybody on here has any experience of post-stroke epilepsy? I had a massive stroke five years ago and was warned at the time by my consultant that it was a possibility, but five years later and here I am. I'm told its quite rare, hence me reaching out to you guys! Thanks in advance!

Hello… Like yourself I also had a massive stroke with a bleed on the brain mine was 6 years ago I was 23 at the time I was never warned about post stroke epilepsy and in January 2023 I started having Tonic Clonic seizures and was diagnosed as epileptic I was put onto Levetiracetam taking 2 doses a day and nearly 2 years on since being on the medication I’ve not had a seizure.
