Daughter has had 4 focal to bilateral tonic clinic seizures since September 2023, these have occurred when either sleep deprived, during sleep or shortly after awakening. She had an EEG which was normal. Met with specialist on 29.05.24, where she was not officially diagnosed but it is 60-70% that she has focal epilepsy, awaiting sleep EEG and MRI to confirm. We have installed the my medic watch app on her Apple Watch. It goes off a few times most nights. It goes off as it detects movement and then records heart rate, I’ve noticed that her heart rate is stopping briefly before rising back up. I’m concerned this could be ictal asystole, has anyone else experienced this??? Thanks in advance. I’m worried sick 😭

Hi Sunny1011
Communicating with people on here is a really good idea. Some times it can be difficult for other people on this platform to give you a definite answer as everyone's experience and knowledge is different.
As this is more a medical question, may we suggest you seek a medical opinion on these readings. Either with your daughters epilepsy team or your family doctor.
Regards
Diane
