Hi,
so i was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and my EEG showed generalised epilepsy however all of my symptoms point towards focal epilepsy. I was wondering if this meant anything? i’ve only ever had petit mal sezuires. is this common?

Did you have a generalised seizure during your eeg to show generalised epilepsy?If not, you could ring an epilepsy nurse if you have one for more clarification.
