I’m in need of some help we believe my sister (16) is having sezures. She kept having blackouts, my mum and myself have had them but she got the worst and now she starts to shake uncontrollably. Tonight (4th April 2022) she didn’t blackout she just started shaking uncontrollably, this is the first time. I want to know some sort of protocol for if this happens again, any advice??
We have spoken to a doctor, she has been referred to a paediatrician, but she won’t have an appointment until 24th May 2022

Also here is a link to our information on how epilepsy is diagnosed. It would be helpful for you to keep a diary of these seizures and try video a few to share with the Paediatrician.
