Is there anyone here that has had infrequent seizures? I’ve had two, 13 years apart. Just would like to share experiences. Thanks

Hiya My seizures are infrequent. Approximately every 6 years. I’ve had 4 in total. Have you been diagnosed with epilepsy after 2 so far apart? What type of seizure did you have?

It’s really frustrating isn’t it. I’ve not had medication before and have just been prescribed Lamotrigine. After seeing others experiences and reading all the side effects I’m reluctant to take it. Especially as it says it can cause a seizure. It doesn’t guarantee I won’t have another seizure so I feel I’m filling my body with a toxic medication for something that happens every 6 years.
