Hey, just wondered if anyone has faced difficulties changing meds such as a high level of side effects? If so what have you done?

Hi what type of trouble are you having my first issue was when I was in my early twenties my consultant thought it was better for me to do the chance over/add on of a 2nd medication with me being admitted to hospital from Monday- Friday's for one whole year this was no ordinary hospital though I still remember them telling us all to get lost after we seen our consultants and be back before medication lol.

Now if I have to have a medication change or a dose change it's better that it's done as fast as possible like get me fully changed over in the space of a week doctors don't like this but it's the best way for me and the reasons are actually down to a bad doctor who thought having a health problem he couldn't find ( Colon Cancer) was a good reason to be ripping me off my medication just because I couldn't keep them down at that time no other reason. When I moved out of the area and got a new doctor he put me back on me medication rapidly even though I still had trouble with keeping stuff down this new doctor said that even just for an hour is better than nothing at all we then found out what was making me so ill and that is why my change has to be rapidly done.

Hope this helps and good luck
