Hi yesterday I had a grand Mal fit for the first time in 4yrs it's actually been 4yrs and 1 month to the day and when I came to the ambulance service was already at my door after my embrace 2 watch notified my friend in Bristol and she called the ambulance service for Devon but the way they seen my little dog was great aswell as it was already explained that she is my helper dog but I thought it sweet when the lady ambulance medic actually helped me reward my dog for her bravery and good behaviour when the people in uniform where here doing there jobs.

Well moving on yesterday as you know you feel like the worst but today because I have finally had that overdue fit I now feel like a million bucks the best I have felt like for a long time so hopefully it won't be so long between and I'm so glad that the doctors here in the UK paid attention to the embrace 2 watch .

Anyone else ever feel better after a fit and sleep ?

Hi - It must have been a shock to have had this seizure after 4 years but it’s good to hear that you have recovered quickly, and that you feel so much better than you did. We’ve heard other people say that a seizure makes them feel so much better.

Sometimes seizure activity can start to happen before you have a full seizure and people tell us this can make them feel unwell or out of sorts. I’m not sure if there was anything in particular you noticed but It’s possible this might have been happening for you. We have some more information that explains a little more about this on our website: epilepsy.org.uk/info/seizur...

You’d be welcome to call us at the Helpline if you have any questions or want to talk things through at all: epilepsy.org.uk/info/suppor...
