Thanks! I was most of the day until I started getting headaches/dizziness. If you don’t mind me asking, how long does it usually take for you to recover from a seizure?

Hi

Vertigo feels like you or everything around you is spinning enough to affect your balance. It's more than just feeling dizzy. There can be lots of different causes for vertigo, for example inner ear problems, migraines or side-effects from medicines. The NHS website has more information about vertigo.

There are lots of different aura (or focal seizure) symptoms and everybody experiences them differently. This is because the symptoms depend on which part of the brain is affected. It’s possible that some people may experience vertigo during an aura.

Hi I’m not too had an aura so quite tired 💤 usually when I’ve had a seizure I wake up not knowing anyone or where i am then I fall asleep for few hours how about you x

Sorry to hear that! Where you able to get some rest at least?

My recovery is very similar, but it depends on my type of seizure. The whole not knowing anyone or anything is usually with my generalised seizures. But I haven’t those for a couple of months thankfully. Recently, sleep seizures have been common for me so my recovery for those is waking up knowing I’ve had a seizure because I’ll have an out of this world headache/feel like I’ve had a dream about seizure/bitten tongue. Recovery usually includes sleeping until I feel better. What types of seizures do u usually have? (If u don’t mind sharing) x
