I’ve been taking lamictal (300mg) for about 4 years (I think) and have noticed this rash of loads of spots on my back and chest a few days ago. I’m not sure if it’s related or not.

If you are taking Lamictal it’s always good to get a rash checked out as soon as possible. It doesn’t matter how long ago you started taking it.

I've just started Lamotrigine/Lamictal and waiting to wean off Vimpat whilst increasing dosages of Lamotrigine. I have come out in the odd spot of purpura which is also related to blood thinners, so I'm not sure which one is causing them. Yesterday, I increased to 100mg. Lamotrigine and a small rash developed but nothing serious.
