Slightly Confused

Had my phone appointment with the Neurology dept yesterday & the doctor said that he doesn't reckon that all my night seizures are seizures, that some might be this jerking thing your body does when you wake up, but I don't remember any of them. He wants if possible video footage of either of my seizures

I'm epileptic, I have temporal lobe epilepsy and I too, frequently jolt/jump/jerk in my sleep yet I am rarely aware that I am doing it. I only know about it because my fiance tells me, so I wouldn't worry about it being related to epilepsy.

Thanks, but he said that the jerks when waking up are not seizures, so that's why I'm so confused
