Personally I take epilim (sodium valproate) chrono as my main medicine and have clobazam as a back up med which I can take if I feel I am at high risk of having a seizure (it is very fast acting so good for this kind of use). Epilim chrono controls my seizures very well. My neurologist told me that clobazam should generally not be taken on a regular basis as the body quickly becomes used to it and then it won't be so effective.

The other medicine I have never tried, but everyone reacts differently to these complicated meds anyway. I hope they work for your son.
