Hello Diane,

I answer one of the side effects of Oxcarbazepine can be bloating.

As you might already be aware all anti-epilepsy drugs can have several different side effects.

If you are not happy this may I suggest that you contact your neurologist.

I hope that your AEDs control your epilepsy for you.

Regards

Richard

Be really careful to have your blood work done on a regular basis- my sodium levels dropped really low on Trileptal and I gained lots of water weight... I fell down and was in a car crash- I think all of this was caused by the low blood sodium. I was fine as soon as they took me off (I peed and peed and peed and lost 20 lbs).
