I have been told I’m going through the pre-menopause, I am having some bad symptoms. The Dr had suggested HRT but I am so worried, I have Endometriosis, Fibroids and PCOS, I have be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and EDS, I don’t know what to do, should I take the HRT or just try to manage the symptoms?

Dr Louise Newson on her podcast (for menopause) had a endo specialist on to talk about hrt and endo so definitely give that a listen. Upshot was can have hrt but I think they said it has to be constant not cyclical. The podcast is only about half an hour so worth a listen x
I was diagnosed with Endo at 51, I think I hit peri menopause and everything went ballistic. I’d always managed bad periods up until that point. I probably shouldn’t have done but can’t turn back the clock 🤦♀️
Not sure how old you are but don’t let drs assume anything, you know your body. Push for MRI to check things if you want them to investigate.
Personally I needed answers after being fobbed off. Discovered I had fibroids as well as Endo, enlarged uterus and adhesions .
