hello! I’ve posted on here before. I went for my second ultra sound scan on Monday where they found 2 cysts 2cm and 3cm on my left ovary and recommended surgery in 6-8 weeks away. Finally have a diagnosis! I’m on the mini pill now which is really helping but am quite scared about the surgery.. any advice on what to expect? The consultant seemed to think my case was quite bad..

Hi, thats great they've been able to organise your surgery so soon. I was waiting well over a year even after being told it looked like I had advanced endo. I had my lap surgery in March this year. I would say to be kind to yourself and don't rush back to work. Some people recover quicker than others but for me I needed 6 weeks off (2 of those I was essentially on bed rest) and then had phased return back to work. I would ask for a referral to occupational health if you have this at work so they can support you and consider reasonable adjustments as can see you had mentioned before being worried about your career x
