Hi! I'm currently in my third year doing Biomedical Science and require people to complete a short anonymous survey on how treatments & how they manage their pain, especially in regards to surgery and menopause as well as exploring herbal remedies, etc.
If you could take the time to fill it in that would be great! I'm hoping this will be beneficial in opening the door to how the medical world can better help those dealing with chronic pain.

Hi I tried to complete your form as we definitely need more research into endo and pain relief. But i couldn't answer it. You ask the question 'what treatment options have you tried' - but you only allow people to pick 1 answer. I was only diagnosed 3 weeks ago and I'm already using 3 different treatments: painkillers, CBD and the Pill. So I didn't know how to answer that question.
Also, my pain is definitely improving but I couldn't say which of those treatments that was due to.
I also think you might need want to reconsider your pain measurement questions. The pain will come and go so are you asking about when it's at it's worst or just baseline levels of pain?
I agree with the comment from Jenn2022. I also had a problem with the question re menopause. I answered I had natural menopause, but was obliged to answer the next question which was based on having either induced or no menopause. Also as I have had endo for many years it was hard to answer accurately re effectiveness of treatments I have used in the past, maybe best to ask what people are currently using?
I hadn't realised I'd made that a required question so I've changed that now! Definitely needed some adjustments - I wasn't able to post this anywhere else so really needed this feedback thank you so much!
