Can endometriosis just hurt during periods and no other time?

Does it have to hurt all the time and not just during periods?

It is possible that you only have pain during periods and still have endometriosis. I only have pain from a day before my period for 2-3 days into it. I had a laparoscopy after 20 years of agonising periods and nothing showing on scans and they found adenomyosis and endometriosis.

Everyone is different but pain always seems to be somewhere with Endo-with me painful and heavy periods and uncomfortable intercourse. Felt more comfortable after Lap cleared up deposits and taking Mefamic acid(Ponstan). Mefamic acid was my saviour in those days. But I am sure treatment has come along way since my day
