We do ask that people don't recommend specific doctors or hospitals, we also ask that people don't make negative comments. We appreciate that people want to find the best possible hospital for their treatment, but people's experiences of the same hospital or doctors can often be very different.

If you are looking for an endometriosis specialist, we recommend looking at the BSGE website, this has a list of all the accredited endometriosis treatment centres in the UK bsge.org.uk/centre/.

Thank you for your reply. Looking at the BSGE website can aid someone to start looking for hospitals with specialist clinics attached to them. Some BSGE centres operate within NHS settings and so working out the nearest can be a useful exercise for patients as further referral to specialist care can be easier if already being treated in that setting. Thank you for flagging the NICE guidelines, they are a useful tool for helping women understand what to expect with regards to the treatment and management of endometriosis.
