Hi yes I get hip pain before and after, I hope I can now say used to as I had lap done 2 days ago. It used to be a burning ache that would travel down my leg and at times I wanted to rip my hip and leg off just for it to stop. Do you have other symptoms?

Yeah I was the same I would dread going going to the toilet and was in tears the whole time I was on it just feeling like my insides were being pulled out. I'd get bad cramps mainly in the night to the point I was crawling out of bed and couldn't walk. It only seemed to be for 3-4 days but I had really bad moods and depression crying all the time like I had the world on my shoulders and couldn't explain why. I had many scans and tests for 3 years and was always sent away with ibs or trapped gas. I felt stupid making such a drama of it. Eventually went back and almost rowed with the doctor that I want something done so she sent me private and they booked me for lap. From the stories I read on here I'm lucky and they got it early, although I understand it can come back. I would keep going until something is done, ignore if they keep shrugging you off just be persistent. Good luck x

I have hip.pain constantly as I have endometriosis on my sciatic nerve it drives me mad . I'm sure people think I'm mad as some days I can hobble about without crutches and then for the next few days I will be dependent on them

Yes I too have intermittent hip pain sometimes I'm pretty sure people think I'm crazy, as some times am able to walk in heels and others I can't move without the help of a crutch! Majority of hip pain is from ovulation to a few days after my period but it doesn't always hold to that pattern.

Know that feeling so well its bonkers x

Mine isn't a burning sensation, it's actual hip pain in the joint! It started three weeks ago and is not as intense now as it was the first two weeks when every sitting-standing-bending-lying down movement hurt. So this has lasted longer than the 7-10 burning you have described, just wondered if they are related and what the heck could it be? Does that mean there's endo in the hip joint itself? Or could it be referred pain?

This potentially endo situation only flared up in March, though I've had bad period cramps all my life, especially in my teens. But nothing like this where I've had some manner of pelvic/abdominal pain every day for three months. Lap is scheduled for next month and I really hope it will bring some answers.
