I had my follow up appointment last week from my lap in January where they found endo. I asked the consultant firstly what they found and secondly what they would recommend, plus going thro benefits and disadvantages of one option v another option. I was lucky...my consultant was lovely, telling me not to feel rushed but to get in touch when I had come to the'whatnext' decision.

I Pinkgirl, Thank you for your reply and words of wisdom. I think its better to know what to ask them before you go in because normally when you are sitting in their office you forget what to ask. I will write your ideas down. :) Many thanks.

I made a list to take with me so I didn't forget but I still came out thinking of things I'd asked for clarification on! Hope you get on well and find something to help manage your endo

Thanks Again. I am no looking forward to it as I am afraid of receiving bad news as my consultant didn't tell be much when I came out of the operation. I has now taken the shingles as well, the say it is all to do with stress and being run down.

Good luck with your appt and wishing you a speedy recovery from shingles. I wasnt told much after my lap either othher than I had severe endo and they had treated some of it. My consultant had pictures from the lap wgich she explained too. Im still pondering my next move as im a bit scared of the gnrh drugs or surgery

For me it is important not to feel rushed into anything. Im lucky in that my gynae totally gets that.
