I hear ya! Exhaustion always was and still is my worst symptom; it's worse than the pain. Since I started a gluten free diet, I've felt better and my energy had improved. Also, I have started Welbutrin which has helped very much as there is a stimulant in it. This is what has worked for me. I remember driving to work in tears because I was just far too exhausted to do anything. Good luck!

Thanks so much for your reply . My friend suggested a gluten free diet as well so maybe it is worth a try. Where can I buy Wellbutrin? I need to try everything cuz my tiredness is affecting my day to day life. I just haven't got energy to do anything. I felt that tired yesterday I felt like someone had drugged me. So thanks again for your help

Hi there, I use Floradix liquid iron & vitamin supplement - available from holland & Barrett and some pharmacies. It really helps with my energy levels as I'm always borderline anaemic due to the blood loss every months, regardless of what I eat. Other iron supplements may take longer to work, and you may get side effects. You can try the gluten free diet too or just a wheat free diet to help with bloating and discomfort. Try to see a dietitian before doing this by yourself. I hope this helps xxx

Aww thank you so much. I will go holland and Barrett tomorrow. I have been trying all food to help with iron but to be honest they don't help. I will try wheat free diet 1st might be easier than the gluten free diet. Thanks again xxx

I am on a wheat free diet too. I also take the herbal medicine Korean Ginseng and it really does help me - gives me more energy. I take it with my lunch - one tablet a day. Herbal medicine can interfere with other medications, so you need to be careful. I just buy my tablets from Morrisons. I had a break from the medicine and really noticed the change, so was relieved to find I was less exhausted when back taking it.
