Hi Gemmap,

Yes both of these are side effects of the endo. I get both too.

I find that my stomach goes in quite odd cycles and I get periods of constipation and the other. Initially I used to go to the Dr and they would give me loads of tablets etc for it which I wouldn't really take because I kind of new ( and they didn't) that it was connected to the endo in some way.

Your immune system will be low. I generally catch a lot of colds. Try and build it up with good foods, maybe some vitamins good for the condition. Such as b vitamins. Your liver may have a hard time processing everything so be kind to it. The effect of even a small amount of alcohol on me has recently got so bad that just one glass of wine last night has left me feeling dreadful today with a bad stomach etc.

Have a look at endo angel on the net for some more tips, it's the best website that I've found for sensible kind advice.

Hope you feel better. X

Thanks guys for your response it does make sense now although I had a suspicion that was the case. My diet is not great and I do drink. My tummy cramps are horrendous at the moment from this tummy bug allot worse than usual x

Endo is an auto-immune disease it wrecks the immune system. You catch more bugs- they take much longer to fight off. Hence we all get so much exhaustion. it also may account for why some ladies get endo in the first place though that is speculation by some docs.
