I can't say I had shooting pains, but one thing to be wary of is drying up down there. Very easy to find youself no longer getting natural lubrication of any description and also not having periods either it can get to a state of being extremely delicate from drying up, so you can offset that by over the counter vaginal moisturisers. That might help ease the pain. Some even include a local anaesthetic but the pharmacist will be able to let you know if you need a prescription for that as I'm sorry I don't know whether you do or don't.

The decapeptyl and its sister GnRH drugs can cause a huge number of weird side effects including unusual pains especially in muscles and bones and even in what feels like veins in limbs. So it could be a muscular pain or spasm rather than pain caused specifically by having zero libido and zero natural moisturing.

You might find that taking a muscle relaxant pain killer every few hours helps to keep the shooting pain at bay. Something like diclofenac or voltarol or similar relaxants might be what you need. What I did find was that the side effects came and went, somedays I was plagued with one to four side effects then some would ease off and different things would start happening. Hopefully the shooting pains are something that does diminish in a few days max for you. I feel fairly confident in saying it is probably not something serious though it will be seriously uncomfy. These drugs can have the most bizarre effects on your body over the course of treatment.

Hope you get over it asap of find something to relieve the pain.
