Well after good news about my drivers licence the missus is wanting to go out for dinner to a restaurant , not looking forward to it as it can be busy , noisy But why not , I have to make the effort not just for me but for her , I guess since encephalitis I have avoided busy situations but it’s now time to get back involved in some way

Hope you both have a good time in celebration of the news! I would go for some fish and chips and a pint or two of Bass ale! (No malt vinegar, though. Good 'ol Heinz ketchup!)

In time, the busy, noisy places might not bother you as much, if at all. I was the same way at first, now not much gets to me any more. The missus must be very, very happy! This is great for the both of you!

Have fun!

I hope you did have a lovely evening. It took me ages to go out so well done you. I’m now fine as long as there aren’t bright lights or loud music. Sadly gigs are out!

It will be interesting to see what you make of it after all this time. I hope it turns out fine. :-)

Hi there!

Amazing news on your driver's license! Well done!

How was your dinner? That must have been a really big step. Go at your own pace! It's not a race!

This makes me happy, I’m only a few days home from hospital and can’t imagine going out. Well done you.
