After affects vaccine

A little random one. Just recently 3 days ago had 2nd dose of Covid Pfizer biontech vaccine . And today I did have a few shivers in the morning , went to make lunch and opened a jar of garlic powder and got a weird sick feeling , that feeling like your going to be sick. Anyway I pushed through and decided to lay down for a little . About 30 minutes later I am being sick and still 3hrs later still have same sick sensation. Just wondering has anyone been sick after Covid vaccine . Or is it my mind playing tricks on me with the sickness feeling and being sick with a very mild headache , playing tricks as similar to symptoms of the onset of hsv encephalitis . Kind of puts me into a worried state . Don’t have anything else though body temp is 36.5c which is normal for me . Or I’m being over stressed with the sick and being sick feeling either caused by my sense of smell being sensitive to the garlic or reaction side affect to vaccine . And hope it’s not a re run of E

UPDATE : spoke to doctor last night at 9pm and after 40 min on phone it was a case if you can go to A&E and get checked as the sickness had lasted from early afternoon and still going on at 9pm , 5 hrs in A&E bloods taken. Reflexes and mobility checked the usual . All was reported back all good, but did get a nice box of anti sickness tablets,

Hi Heavychunky1,

I had the Astra Zenica jab (after my first one) I was so shivery, I couldn't get warm all day and night although it was winter and the heating was on.

I had a bad headache plus I felt SO lethargic than ever and I could sense that I felt nauseous the same night, but I had been in bed a few hours and woke up being sick plus I felt bloated for 3 days after so I couldn't eat or didn't feel like anything (except drinks). I spoke to the GP and she went through all the questions with me and it was an after effect of the jab.

It's been years since I felt that poorly, but after ten days I felt much better.

I'm not particularly keen on the smell of garlic myself.

I believe that it can happen after the 2nd Pfizer one, but my Dad had it and he had no trouble with it.

I can see why you're fearful of getting Herpes Simplex Viral E again but it's unlikely because that this type of Encephalitis is not usually known to return but in some people they can get autoimmune Encephalitis.

In my case apparently I won't ever get 'E' again because I was 1 when I had it.

Apparently there is a difference between childrens brains and adult brains the neurology of it I find really interesting. I only discovered it recently.

In other words you can't compare yourself with myself even though we had the same diagnosis because of the age when we had it.

I hope and pray that, that does not happen to you Heavychunky1.

In my opinion you had an allergic reaction to the vaccine like I did.

I would still talk to your doctor about it though.

Hope this helps you.
