Psilocybin spurs rapid growth of new nerve connections in mice
Written by James Kingsland on July 09, 2021
A new study that tracked changes in neural connections in the brains of living mice found that one dose of psilocybin increased their density and size.
I found this a really interesting article.I already take an antidepressant for my profound OCD, and there is a study out for OCD sufferers to try psilocybin.
It is also excellent neuroscience too.
I imagine people who have Encephalitis and they may experience mental health problems it would be interesting to consider this new medication (if it doesn't counteract any other medication they might be taking) I would suggest they get a doctor's/specialists opinion first.
